JADE PLANT DETAILS
Common or vulgar name: jade plant, lucky plant, money plant or money tree.

The jade tree, jade succulent or crássula ovata is a plant that is characterized by its fleshy leaves and its great resistance both to dimly lit interiors and to exteriors with a lot of sun.
It tolerates heat, drought, and wind, but like all succulents, it is very sensitive to excess water, especially during winter. Overexposure to solar radiation can cause foliage drop and leaf burns. It does not tolerate the cold. It can withstand some light frost, provided the substrate is kept dry.

JADE PLANT CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Indoor and outdoor plant.
Temperature: it likes warm weather, but tolerates cold up to 10ºC.
Light: very bright place, with direct light for about 4 hours, although avoiding central hours that can burn its leaves and slow down its growth.
Humidity: place it in a place with good ventilation to avoid the accumulation of humidity in the plant.
Irrigation: as it is a succulent it needs very little water, since it already stores a lot in its leaves; water it only when the substrate is completely dry and do not water it in cold weather to prevent the roots from rotting.
Nutrients: Add nutrients from May to October once a month to encourage plant growth.
Substrate: quality substrate with good drainage and sand. The plant will not flood and the roots will be properly oxygenated.
