Create a winter garden with plant shelves

A few days ago, when I was walking through the city, I felt the need to find a garden along the way, to enjoy a green place, has that ever happened to you? But I felt cold, so I went back home. And I asked myself: Why can't I enjoy my own garden at home? Is it a luxury to have the space and time to take care of it and enjoy it?

.

Then I remembered a book; Ode to the Earth; a journey to the garden of philosopher Byung-Chul Han. And I want to share with you a couple of reflections that I believe are essential today. The connection of city dwellers with nature is, unfortunately, increasingly rare, having a personal space to contemplate and reconnect with the earth is almost nonexistent, and we must remember that a garden is not only an aesthetic space; it is also a “refuge” from the frantic pace of modernity.

.

For Han, the act of caring for a garden is a form of resistance, an “useless” time, but deeply meaningful. He suggests that gardens are a reflection of the soul of those who care for them. That is, an extension of our essence, and although we often criticize how technology has distanced humans from nature, it is also true that it can be a bridge to facilitate our reconnection with the natural world in urban environments.

.

I recommend this book to you, in it you will find the inspiration to create your own garden. I am already creating "My Winter Garden at Home" adapted to my space and time. The important thing, how I achieved it: With CitySens as my ally in this project.

Technology and Nature: Vertical Planter

I also decided to incorporate this decorative vertical planter with an automatic irrigation system in my bedroom to add a touch of green and fill the space with life. In addition to decorating the environment, the plants help purify the air, creating a cooler and more welcoming place to rest. [+info]
