Over the years, at CitySens, we have understood that the beauty of nature should not only be admired but also protected. In a world full of environmental challenges, it is essential to raise awareness, inspire, and motivate change, also through art.

The Beginning: A New Project, a Collaboration Between CitySens & Himiki

Himiki (Roberto Blefari) is a freelance illustrator based in Turin (Italy), specialized in translating complex ideas into simple and captivating images. Trained in graphic design at the IED in Turin, he has worked with clients such as Google, The Guardian, WeTransfer, and Mondadori, moving between advertising, publishing, and visual communication. His style, characterized by vibrant colors, visual metaphors, and irony, invites both reflection and a smile.
In Roberto Blefari's words:
“I decided to propose a collaboration with CitySens because I love their products and indoor plants in general. During the pandemic, the vertical planter I have at home for seven years became the protagonist of an illustration, and since then, I’ve dreamed of collaborating with CitySens.”

The Result: Illustrated Wall Planter

“Regarding the illustration, the word ‘Life,’ initially created with the roots of a plant, becomes a plant itself that grows and develops.”
“I thought of applying the design on the planters using vinyl stickers, so I sought balance and a suitable composition. I started working with vibrant colors but then realized that a monochromatic option would be simpler and better suited for the CitySens wall planter. I kept the idea of highlighting water using a palette of blues.”
