How to transition your plants to hydroponics

Hydroponics is the cultivation of plants without soil. It is a highly efficient and sustainable system for plant care, especially in large cities, as it allows plants to be grown in less space and even vertically.

To support the roots, hydroponics uses porous materials, such as peach pits, an ecological, biodegradable, and high-quality hydroponic substrate sourced from the juice industry in Spain.

For plants that require more moisture at the roots, we can use mixed substrates such as rock wool and peach pits.

In the following videos, we show you how to transition a plant from traditional cultivation to hydroponic pots with the CitySens vertical planter.

Tips for hydroponic plant care

Hydroponic plants require environments with plenty of ambient light and more frequent watering. For indoor plants, we recommend the following care: 8 hours of indirect light per day and one daily watering of 2–3 minutes.
